Newport, Shropshire
Lilleshall is one of the UK’s prestigious National Sports Centres and one of the six nationally recognised Elite Training Centres.
It is the current home of many major NGBs, including England Hockey, British Gymnastics and Archery GB. As well as sports it’s a centre for the English Institute of Sport, who deliver a range of performance impacting sport science and sport medicine to Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
Once home to the prestigious Football Association and the base for the 1966 world cup winning squad, Lilleshall offers a unique environment that brings together elite training programs and community users in a unique inspirational setting.
A rare opportunity has arisen for a partner to base their sports academy at Lilleshall and to be a part of the development of the site and its sporting outcomes.
Tenderers have a great deal of flexibility in how they wish to structure their service delivery, which could include:
• Hire of pitches – maintained to an elite performance level
• Hire of classroom space
• Use of fitness gym / strength & conditioning suite
• Accommodation
• Provision of bespoke food and beverage offering developed with a sports nutrition focus.
• Function and conference rooms
• Office facilities
We are proposing a minimum two-year contract to commence by autumn 2022.
