IAAPA helps move leisure and attractions industry forward with IAAPA Expo Europe

As the leisure and attractions industry continues to recover and look to the future, IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, is moving forward with plans
to host IAAPA Expo Europe this September.

With health and safety protocols in place, industry professionals will come together to learn, buy and network in Barcelona, Spain.

“This past year has been unlike any other our industry has ever encountered,” said IAAPA president and CEO Hal McEvoy.

“Members have been looking to us to help them push forward so guests around the world can safely return to the fun we’re known for. The best way we can do this is by bringing the industry together for our global Expos. No matter what stage of reopening, re-emerging, or recovery members are in, they’ll be able to find inspiration, solutions and new connections in Barcelona.”

IAAPA Expo Europe will bring industry professionals, owners and operators together. The event will take place at Fira Barcelona Gran Via across two halls.

As the leisure industry’s premier event in Europe, the Expo will focus on helping participants reinvent, restart and reconnect. The conference will include education opportunities, special events and an invigorating tradeshow floor with the latest innovations.

The conference will be hosted on 27-30 September, while the trade show will be held between 28-30 September. If you haven’t registered yet, head to this link.

“As we plan for IAAPA Expo Europe, the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees and team remain at the forefront of all that we do,” shared Jakob Wahl, executive director and VP, IAAPA EMEA.

“The Fira Barcelona Gran Via is a great partner and they’re working with us to ensure we have the right safety measures in place that meet current health guidelines.

“We’re so looking forward to bringing industry professionals to Barcelona and sharing some of the area’s famous destinations.”

International attractions industry leaders, decision-makers, and visionaries from all segments of the industry will participate in IAAPA Expo Europe, including manufacturers and suppliers, owners and operators of theme and amusement parks, water parks, family entertainment centres, zoos, aquariums, camping facilities, shopping centres, cruise lines, retail development companies, science centres, museums, resorts and so much more.

See you in Barcelona!
