Spa Club Asia launches membership programme

A spa and wellbeing membership programme has been set up, to offer people interested in wellness, a year-round support network to help them maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

For HK$2,888 (€300/US$370), members are given a number of complimentary treatments, including facials, slimming treatments, body wraps and massages, plus a wellness assessment, a beauty make over and four-week exercise membership.

Additionally, members receive ongoing benefits, such as invitations to beauty, wellbeing and health seminars and workshops, access to spa cuisine recipes and can take advantage of discounts on health and beauty products, vitamins, health foods and holidays at selected destination spas.

Founder and managing director of Spa Club Asia, Melinda Yon, who is based in Hong Kong, has recruited a number of spa partners in Hong Kong to develop the programme, including Aveda, Decleor, Jurlique and fitness operator New York @ hAL. There are also a number of participating overseas spas where members can enjoy free treatments, including Evian Spa in Shanghai, Essentia Spa in Singapore and the Bangkok-based Praduu Spa Club.

“The idea behind Spa Club Asia, is to offer a free marketing tool to spas, giving them access to a new market and to gain loyal customers, while educating consumers on the value of spas,” says Yon.

“Our selection criteria for spa partners is that they must be of world class quality, with a high standard of service and professionalism. The leading spas of Asia are our target.”

Yon intends to expand the Spa Club Asia programme regionally in the next 12 months.
