New bespoke play units from Playworld Systems have been installed at two parks in the London Borough of Enfield.

The company replaced a large centrepiece timber play unit at both Oakwood Park and Broomfield Park with new units of a similar size, designed for use by children aged 8-14.

The new bespoke Playworld units are designed to facilitate accessible play for children of all abilities.

Oakwood Park has subsequently been awarded a ‘Green Flag’ by the Civic Trust, the national standard for parks and green spaces in England and Wales.

This signifies the park as a high quality green space and is one of only 151 in the Greater London area.
