A new Series4 17" widescreen Aquavision television has been installed at Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
The Series4 range is available in three finishes – polar white, black, and Mirrorvision – with the latter’s glass taking the form of a mirror when the television is off. As with all Aquavisions, the televisions also come with a waterproof remote control and waterproof stereo speakers.
Featuring RS232 control, integrated Freeview digital and analogue tuners, the Series4 also comes with component video, S-Video and analogue PC inputs, single HDMI on the 17", 19", and 26" screens, twin HDMI inputs on the AVF-32-4C and AVF-40-C and full scart connection and built in games.
Image quality is said to be far superior when compared to any other waterproof TV available, offering a contrast ratio of 1600:1 on the AVF-32-4C and 1366 x 768 pixel resolution on most of the new models.
The new screens accept both industry standard ‘High Definition’ video formats (1080i and 720p) for watching the latest HDTV and high definition movies and feature infra-red pass through, to enable control of other equipment such as SKY.
All Aquavision units feature heated screen areas to prevent the front misting up in humid conditions or even freezing up in cold conditions, and are suitable for Gyms, Health Centres and Spas in rooms where water is present.
