A further addition to Melitta’s HACCP approved bean to cup speciality coffee machines will make its debut at Hotelympia 2008.

An ultra compact unit, Bar is said to be ideal for siting behind a bar and is capable of delivering up to 150 espressos or 90 cappuccinos per hour.

It features an 18 choice speciality menu, two separate hoppers, an extra chute for decaffeinated coffee and a hot water outlet for tea preparation.

An integrated automatic milk frother delivers creamy froth in seconds or - for an element of barista-style theatre - a steam nozzle is available for manual frothing.

Bar has a clear, user friendly display which also informs operators about how full the grounds container is and when automatic cleaning is due to start.
