Sports clothing specialist Impsport has launched a new range of Compression Clothing which has been developed in conjunction with the Plowman Craven Evans Cycles Team.

Sponsored by Impsport and geometrics company Plowman Craven, the team won three National titles last season, while rider Craig MacLean won the team’s first World Cup medal with a bronze at the World Track Cup in Beijing in December.

Impsport says that compression clothing is widely regarded as the future of exercise recovery and its new collection is reported to offer specifically created, tightly wrapped garments designed to reduce muscle movement, vibration and tissue damage.

Other benefits include an accelerated blood flow which increases the work rate and recovery time, and a technology which continues after exercise to work the muscles and blood flow to help reduce waste product left in the muscles and improve recovery time.

The new range comprises both long-sleeve and short-sleeve tops, as well as unisex shorts and tights. All are available in a range of sizes and colours.
