Colour-therapy specialist mycoocoon has launched a new Color-Institute App that features a simple colour test to determine a user’s ‘Personal Color Profile,’ which will then help them select the a light immersion session to balance their energy needs.
The app can be used as a stand-alone application for colour therapy, or as a remote control for the mycoocoon and Lumencure mood lighting products and instruments.
“Based on chromotherapy, the mycoocoon colour institute combines the ancestral beliefs about colour with the aid of technology,” explains Valérie Corcias, founder of mycoocoon. “The mycoocoon colour institute app will allow you to transform your iOS device into a powerful and mesmerising light and sound instrument that will provide you with a feeling of deep relaxation.”
Mycoocoon has partnered with leading colour experts to create their products, which include colour immersion pods and and colour immersion walls, both of which can be used in conjunction with the new app, and can be installed in spas.
The colour immersion pods give clients a “light bath” under biocompatible lamps that immerse the whole body in key colours, along with sounds to enhance the experience, and can be used for meditation sessions.
The Colour immersion walls feature 12 embedded bio lamps and can be moved and implemented in various room configurations. They can be used with yoga, reflexology, or special treatments for stress, insomnia or jet-lag, or can be installed in a relaxation room.
Its Lumencure products use LED therapy and specific colour wavelengths that penetrate the skin at varying depths, such as blue light therapy for acne, or red light therapy for wrinkles.
Mycoocoon also recently launched its products in Asia for the first time, in partnership with VDL Cosmetics, and consumers will be able to select their makeup based on their colour moods after taking a colour test and immersing themselves in the colour immersion pods.
