New display board for safety throwlines

Balcan Engineering has designed a new display board for the distinctive red cabinets that hold its BELL (Balcan Emergency Life Line) emergency throwlines.

The board can be used near lakes, rivers, canals, quarries, swimming pools or promenades and carries clear instructions for the use of the lifesaving devices.

The BELL itself is carried by emergency services and navies around the world and is equally useful for rescues in water or across ice and mud.

ROSPA approves the use of throwing lines for water rescues because of their greater reach and - at 40m - the BELL is said to have more than twice the range of throwbags.

BELLs can be easily carried and stowed, and are supplied with special red plastic-coated cabinets for on-site storage. The cabinets can be mounted on the strong new display board, making them easier to see and use.
