February sees the launch by Unilever UK of Wall's Solero Smoothies and a revamp for the existing Solero Exotic brand.

The products in the smoothie line feature traditional banana-based recipes, with the Strawberry & Banana variant being made from smooth banana ice cream swirled with a fruit sorbet and coated with a strawberry and cranberry fruit outer.

The Blackcurrant & Banana smoothie has the same ice cream and sorbet content with a blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry fruit coating.

Solero Exotic will benefit from redesigned packaging, plus a reformulated recipe to bring its calorie count down to 99 in alignment with Solero Smoothies.

All three Solero products are available in either handheld or 3 x 90ml multipack format.

Also new from Wall's is the Milk Time childrens range.

Available from February, it marks a move by the company to reposition ice cream from a sweet treat to a more wholesome pleasure food.

The range comprises two new ice cream snacks: the Individual Pot Dessert, made with fresh milk and natural strawberry sauce and available in a 4x100ml multipack; and the Milk and Biscuit ice cream lolly with a chocolate flavour top, which comes in a 6x75ml multipack.

The existing Mini Milk ice lolly brand will be repackaged to join the Milk Time range as a 12 mixed multipack.
