New range of smoking shelters from QMP

Ahead of legislation banning smoking in the workplace being implemented next year, QMP has further developed its range of smoking shelters.

The new designs provide a quickly available solution that can be customised to suit a specific site. They also comply with new Scottish legislation on the design of smoking shelters, requiring them to be greater than 50 per cent open.

In addition to the Traditional and Premier, QMP have added a range of wall mounted smoking shelters. Ranges are available in a wide choice of size options, materials and optional accessories.

The Traditional range provides a smoking area that allows the rapid dispersal of cigarette fumes from the base and roofline. Substantial panels on all four sides provide protection from the elements while meeting the latest legislation. Pre-coated shelters can also be supplied for coastal locations.

The new Premier range is designed to withstand whatever the British weather can throw at it, with its curved contemporary design helping to maintain a smart corporate image. Wall mounted shelters are suitable for locations where space is at a premium and can provide cover for between 2 and 8 smokers.

All QMP shelters are available with clear polycarbonate infill panels or perforated sheet steel back panels and clear sides for good visibility. Optional lighting is available. Both ranges come with a wide range of options and accessories so the shelter can be customized to individual business requirements. They include wall-mounted or flat-top ashtrays and perch seats.

Wall Mounted shelters start at around £500 and traditional shelters at £2000 plus VAT. Premier shelters are available from £3000 plus VAT.
