Torex, the leading provider of cutting edge technology solutions to the hospitality and leisure industry, will be showcasing a range of new products and solutions at this year’s Leisure Industry Week .
This will be the first time that the company will reveal products targeted at both the hospitality and leisure industry and will see the launch of three new solutions with product demonstrations on the stand.
Visitors will have the opportunity to understand the product benefits of Torex’s new e-bookings solution for leisure operators. The company has recently strengthened its TLMS leisure management solution with the launch of an updated version of the real time Internet based bookings module. The solution, which has been developed using the latest Microsoft development and forward thinking programming language.net, is the latest in a series of enhancements to Torex’s offering to the leisure sector.
The new module offers leisure operators the ability to give their customers online access to bookings, allowing them to book facilities in advance. Users will have the option to log into Internet bookings by providing a valid email address and corresponding password. Both existing leisure centre members and non members can register for Internet bookings. When booking, the customers can view their current and past bookings with the activity, centre and location all conveniently displayed on the on-line booking page.
This year Torex has also announced the launch of its Staff Rota Software solution with the aim of helping leisure operators address the issues of staff scheduling.
The new solution, Torex Staff Rotas, can be installed on a standalone basis and requires minimal configuration and set up. It can also be integrated with Torex’s leading TLMS Lucas Advantage leisure management solution, which is already used throughout the UK by many local authorities, as well as a growing number of commercially owned sports and health club operators.
Torex will also be showcasing its latest handheld technology which will go on trial at Leeds University this September. The device will use the TLMS software remotely enabling staff at the university to track memberships made across the campus sports fields and sports centres. By developing the handheld technology students will be able to hand over their university card on the playing field, which can then be swiped to verify their membership.

Torex provides a range of leisure management solutions to both public and private sector customers ranging from council owned leisure and sports clubs to privately owned health clubs and gyms. With more than 600 sites live on leisure systems in the UK, the company's customer base includes David Lloyd Leisure (Europe), DC Leisure Management and Guildford Spectrum.
Torex will be exhibiting at stand 2230 at Leisure Industry Week.
