Umbrolly has announced the launch of its new 'Mini' Umbrolly umbrella vending unit.

Ideal for tourist sites, leisure operations and theme parks, the machine is only 20cm deep and, since it doesn't need connecting to mains power, can be installed just about anywhere - at exit and entrance areas, between exit doors, close to rides, and so on.

The unit holds 50 Umbrolly umbrellas - available for purchase at £2.00 each - and can accept both UK coins and euros. Sales data is recorded via the internal CPU so that stock and cash levels can be audited safely.

Installation and operation of the units is free of charge and they are serviced and maintained by one of the company's partners. Site owners and operators can also have their brand name or logo placed on the umbrellas, turning them into a great marketing tool.

Umbrolly says that every umbrella sold earns an above vending industry average royalty, which is paid quarterly to a site's owner or operator.
