Griffiths' visit was prompted by the Welsh Assembly initiative for Sports and Active Recreation in Wales, which outlines the government's drive to promote fitness and sports activity for people of all ages and abilities throughout Wales.

P*werSport has been in Bridgend for over 30 years and employs more than 100 people locally.
