Christened evo2, the new range consists of a treadmill, upright cycle and cross trainer and incorporates design features claimed to make it ideal for users in the age range of eight years to late teens.

Managing Director, Bob Evans says that their target was to deliver a range that was aesthetically attractive to a broad range of youngsters but which also provided a serious, but appropriate, workout capability.

The first of these aims has been achieved through radical styling and the second by incorporating specific features to accommodate the age group in question. These include speed and incline limitations on programme routines, easy start facilities and more extensive adjustments on seat, pedals and handles.

All three machines also include features to assist disabled users and extensions to the range are already at the planning stage.
