Reynolds Sports buys Impsport

Specialist sports clothing company Impsport has been acquired by Reynolds Sports for an undisclosed sum.
Impsport produces custom made sports clothing, event signage and numbers and printing and embroidery for leisurewear.
In 2007 the business generated £1.1m of turnover, with 75 per cent generated through custom made sports clothing for cycling, triathlon and running.
Turnover in 2008 is already reported to be up by 8 per cent with sales expected to continue to grow.
The business employs 32 staff based at its manufacturing and operations premises in Lincoln and will be moving to premises five miles away which are already owned by Reynolds Sports. All 32 staff will be retained and manufacturing will continue as normal.
Reynolds Sports specialises in the supply of sports equipment, teamwear and leisurewear and currently holds a number of international and national brand licencing agreements.
