Cruise ship Seabourn Quest launches spa suites

Cruise ship the Seabourn Quest has announced it will boast four penthouse spa suites when it launches in May, situated above the ship's Spa at Seabourn facility. Guests will access the suites by a spiral staircase in the spa lobby and during their journey will have unlimited access to the spa's Serene Area, a spa shower in the suite's bathroom and the services of a spa concierge.
The four suites, measuring up to 50sq m (538sq ft) with private verandas measuring 16sq m (172sq ft), have been designed by Norway's Yran & Storbraaten.
Spa at Seabourn will offer Chinese reflexology, aromatherapy and Thai massage, with the Serene Area featuring heated lounges, a herbal steam bath and an aroma steam bath with salt inhalation.
Guests can choose a selection of four calming L'Occitane fragrances to be diffused throughout the spa suite as part of their turndown service and will have access to Molton Brown speciality spa products.
They will be invited to select from a menu of designer soaps by Hermes, L'Occitane, Baudelaire and Salvatore Ferragamo at the beginning of their stay.
Relaxing spa music will be available as a background track in the suite.
Seabourn president Richard Meadows said: "A growing number of our guests choose Seabourn's new ships specifically because of our beautiful onboard Spa at Seabourn facilities.
"Some of these guests have expressed a desire to incorporate a more complete spa vacation experience into their cruises, and our Penthouse Spa Suites are designed to fulfil that wish."
The suites will be added to Seabourn Odyssey and Sojourn during their next scheduled drydocks.
