Conrad Hotels & Resorts has announced 14 new hotel projects to add to the 15 it currently operates across the world.
Five of these will open over the next 14 months and a further eight by the end of 2013.
The 463-room Conrad New York, set to open in Q4 2011, will be the brand's fifth property in the US and its first in New York city.
The Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay, due to open shortly on Hainan Island, will offer 101 villas, while the Conrad Koh Samui Resort & Spa, slated for a Q1 2011 opening, will provide 66 villas in Aow Thai Beach, Thailand.
Conrad's first hotel in Portugal, the 158-room Conrad Algarve Palacio Da Quinta, is due to open in Q2 2011. Further east, the 559-room Conrad Dubai is scheduled to open in Q4 2011.
Other openings are planned for Seoul (Q1 2012), Dalian (Q1 2012), Beijing (Q1 2012), Fiji (Q4 2012), Bangalore (Q1 2013), Guangzhou (Q4 2013), Bali (Q4 2013), Tianjin (Q4 2013) and Mumbai (Q3 2014).
