Health club operator Fitness First Australia (FFA) has announced that Grant Twible has been named director of fitness to oversee the management of its 93 facilities.

Twible joins the company with more than 15 years experience in the health and fitness sector, having worked in the US for the past decade as national fitness director at Bally Total Fitness and at Crunch Fitness.

FFA managing director Peter Stirling Benson said: "Grant's skills and international experience will be an invaluable addition to our team as we continue to innovate and invest in our world class fitness service.

"We're committed to making Australia a fitter place and Grant will play a key role in making fitness more accessible, more enjoyable and more achievable for our members."

Twible will be based at FFA's head office in Sydney.
