Sports nutrition brand MET-Rx has produced a booklet designed to help gym goers get the best possible results from their training regime.
On offer to health clubs for distribution free to their members, Sports Nutrition Made Easy is a 14-page advice booklet produced by MET-Rx in conjunction with personal trainer and sports nutrition expert, Kristoph Thompson.
Said to be the first of its kind, it explains how using natural supplements - made up of substances that occur naturally in the food we eat - can work for every individual, whatever their training goals may be.
The booklet offers guidance on what sports supplements are, how they can complement a training regime, how to decide if a supplement is right for a particular person, and choosing the right one. Its aim is to educate people so they understand how to combine exercise and nutrition to achieve optimum results.
With an easy-to-read design, the guide is split into sections: muscle growth and repair, weight management and promoting muscle tone, improving hydration and recovery after exercise, gaining muscle mass and building strength, and improving exercise performance.
