Scandinavian designer Mika Rinta-Suksi has created what he says is the UK's first interchangeable illuminated 'wall art' for display in bars, restaurants and hotels.

He came up with the idea for Lighting Boards when looking for flexible lighting in his own home but could find nothing in the UK to create the visual effects he wanted.

Key features of the range are combining lighting and wall art in one interior design product, a glow without glare and usable with a dimmer, easily interchangeable front fascias to alter the shape and light pattern, and straightforward fixing.

The facias are manufactured from particle board in single or multiple depths to create the desired effect. Each facia slots into place on the particle-coated 'hot shoe' bracket and so can be swapped or replaced as often as desired.

Prices for the standard Lighting Boards start at £120, with there being nine styles currently available and more designs planned. Bespoke products can be created as required.
