Body Bistro, the Beverly Hills-based ayurvedic apothecary, has just added Carrot + Sandalwood Eye Butter to its wide range of facial and body products.
An intensive moisture eye remedy for all skin types, it contains a blend of gotu kola, turmeric, carrot extract and green tea, designed to reduce fine lines, minimise dark circles and enhance the radiance of the skin.
Also part of the recipe are ruby grapefruit, included for its astringent and antioxidant properties, and sandalwood bark, a natural SPF to protect against the harmful rays of the sun.
Carrot + Sandalwood Eye Butter joins a wide range of facial and body products available from Body Bistro, which includes the recently introduced Grapefruit + Gotu Kola Stimulating Shower Gelle.
Created to cleanse, protect and detoxify the skin and with a clean, fresh smelling scent, it features a formula containing grapefruit peel oil as an astringent and antioxidant; gotu kola extract for anti-ageing and skin refining, kukui seed oil for moisturizing and turmeric to help fight free radicals.
New last year and a luxurious addition to a bath, Tapioca + Soy Milk Hydrating Bath Infusion helps to detoxify, boost elasticity, refine skin tone, cleanse and soothe. In addition to the benefits of gotu kola extract, kukui seed oil and turmeric, the Bath contains soybean protein to promote elasticity, plus coconut and sunflower seed oils for preventing wrinkles and repairing cells and tissue.
Finally, Bamboo + Wine Exfoliating Body Buff - also introduced in 2005 - contains bamboo extract, grape seed and date seed as natural skin smoothers to form part of a blend of extracts and oils created to cleanse, exfoliate, stimulate and revitalise the outer layers of the skin. Included as well is sesame seed oil, rich in vitamins A and E and a natural anti-inflammatory.
