American company Taking the Waters has introduced Thera:Vie Innovative Healing Therapy, a skin moisturizing system which uses disposable, bio-degradable gloves and booties infused with high quality serum.
The fragrance-free serum - incorporating hazelnut, safflower and grapeseed oils, along with vitamins A and E - is activated by the heat of the body, with the gloves or booties being worn for as little as 20 minutes.
Spa professionals can place a warm mitt or towel over the gloves or booties to enhance the experience for their guests.
The serum is combined with medical grade polyethylene glove and bootie carriers that contain no latex, rubber, powder, alcohol or vinyl materials that could cause irritation. The result is said to be a high quality, hypoallergenic skin treatment ideal for all skin types.
