From hygiene company Germstar comes its new touchless hand sanitiser, said to be ideal for customers in health clubs and leisure centres as well as for staff in restaurants and hotels.
By being touchless, the risk of cross contamination is said to be eliminated with the sanitiser containing Isopropyl alcohol, which is claimed to kill 99.9 per cent of all germs that it comes into contact with.
Available in three varieties – Germstar Original, Citrus and Noro – it is described as having a water-like consistency with the solution absorbing into the skin’s pores, nullifying the need to use taps and hand dryers.
Available in both stand and wall-fitted versions, the design uses four ‘D’ type batteries, which is claimed to last up to 50,000 uses, with each 1ltr refill lasting approximately 1400 uses.
The machine dispenses 1ml doses each time and by using only one moving part (a small electro magnet), Germstar insist that maintenance will be kept to a minimum.
